Hi, I’m Owain, and I get it—because I’ve been there.
I didn't start in a polished clinic. I started by treating patients in my living room, hauling my bench in the back of a car, and eventually renting a single room. I was winging it, making every mistake possible—hiring the wrong people, undercharging for my services, and working relentless hours only to feel like I was standing still.
My wake-up call came when I realised I was building a prison of my own making.
So I got serious. I created a real business plan, secured investment, and built my own multi-practitioner clinic from the ground up. But the struggle wasn't over. I had to learn—through painful trial and error—how to manage a team, create watertight systems, and lead with vision instead of just effort.
Eventually, I turned it all around. I built a profitable, self-sustaining practice that ran without me. This freedom allowed me to pursue my singing career, complete a master’s degree, and ultimately sell my business for a life-changing sum.
But my story doesn't end there. After selling my practice, I founded Big Gay Out, a social community to fight the loneliness I saw around me. I brought together thousands of people for events built on kindness, support, and inclusivity.
